1. CR Belouizdad Sign Players for CAFCL

Algerian side, CR Belouizdad want to put in a good performance in the CAFCL 2020/2021 going by their transfer activity. CRB have signed a high profile right back and striker in Mokhtar Belkither and Maecky Ngombo respectively. The former joined from Club Africain while the latter is a Belgian international.

CR Belouizdad is not done as they are reportedly out searching for another foreigner. CRB will represent Algeria in the CAF Champions League alongside MC Alger.

2. Sundowns Unveil New PUMA Kits

Sundowns unveiled new Puma kits along with a new logo to celebrate the club’s 50th anniversary. Masandawana has become THE South African team when it comes to continental football.

3. Zamalek Win Another Big Match

One of the things we mentioned is how good Zamalek has become in big matches. Their added onto their list of impressive results by beating Pyramids FC 2-0 in the Egyptian Premier League race for the 2nd CAF Champions League spot. Strikers, Mostafa Mohamed and Kabongo Kasongo scored for the White Knights.

4. Kaizer Chiefs Chokes, Sundowns Wins PSL

Surprisingly, Sundowns ended the 2019/2020 season as PSL champions after Kaizer Chiefs drew their last league match of the season. Chiefs drew 1-1 with Baroka while Sundowns out three goals unanswered against Black Leopards. This choke job raises questions on whether Kaizer Chiefs will be able to compete in the CAFCL as they had a 10 point lead over Masandawana at one time.
